I think I may be pregnant but im also on suboxone. I don’t wanna stop my treatment but I also don’t want ot hurt my baby. Should I be worried about birth defects because of suboxone?

suboxone may cause birth defects, miscarriage, or neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) you should avoid taking this drug while pregnant because it could harm your baby before or after birth

whether it causes birth defects or withdrawal symptoms after the baby is born doesn't matter. The fact is, it can negatively affect your baby. Talk to your doctor about stopping if you've become pregnant or finding an alternative solution.

I'm not sure about birth defects but it can definitely cause withdrawal symptoms when the baby is born

your doctor should tell you not to be taking this while pregnant!! If you're buying it illegally, stop now to prevent further damage
