Depending on the type you're taking, it could cause some discomfort in your mouth. I guess it's possible to have some swellling as well.

Suboxone is a narcotic that is used for the treatment of opioid addiction. Some doctors will prescribe it for pain relief. According to what I have read, swelling in the face can be a common side effect. It should go away in a few days. I would make a call to my doctor if it doesnt.

If you are experiencing edema in your face for an extended period of time, consider calling your doctor. This could be dangerous but don’t just stop your medication cold turkey. That could cause even more problems.

It is a negative side effect of suboxone. Call your doctor!

Not sure how bad your swelling is, but I would call my doctor or visit an ER. Edema in your face could be a negative reaction to the drug.
