My husband has been battling a drug addiction for years. He told me he was going to start taking Suboxone to try to quit. I found a powdery substance in his gym bag. He said that it was Suboxone and he crushed it so that it would take effect sooner. Is this true or is he just abusing it?

Suboxone can be crushed when someone is abusing it. It is designed to be taken under the tongue and slowly absorbed into the bloodstream. There is no need for your husband to snort it.

It's obvious your husband is abusing it. There is no drug that doctors tell you to crush and snort. Come on, be smarter than that.

Your husband is lying to you. When you get a prescription for Suboxone, they tell you how to take it and never suggest snorting it.

It doesn't matter how your husband takes Suboxone. It won't work faster no matter how he takes it.
