Asked: 2019-09-12 15:10:04

Can anyone tell me how long buprenorphine withdrawal can last for? My cousin is in treatment now, but no one has really told me much about what her treatment means for her. I worry too much about her I guess, but anything you guys can explain to me about this would be great.

Withdrawal symptoms from buprenorphine can last up to a month. However, the worst of the symptoms are usually within the first 72 hours after the withdrawal symptoms start.

Your cousin might experience withdrawal symptoms for as long as a month. It's usually the depression and cravings that last that long. However, it's the first 72 hours that the symptoms your cousin might experience are usually the worse.

Mostly it's the first 72 hours that's the worse since the symptoms are way worse and stuff. However, you can still experience withdrawals for a month.

It's usually about a month before the symptoms will disappear or slowly disappear. Next time, ask your cousin or soemthing.
