Wow, I am lost. Can anyone help me understand how you can get rid of nausea from subutex? My son is undergoing treatment by using subutex and I wanted to know how I can help in case he has a problem with nausea since i read that it's one of the symptoms of this stuff. I mean I guess I can ask his doctor but I just want to see if i can be of any help to him and figure out my own suggestions.

I hate feeling nausea myself, so I looked it up in case someone else might want to know for personal reasons. I found out that most people can probably use gastrointestinal medications to help with nausea symptoms when they take subutex.

If you are feeling nauseous, id suggest taking gastrointestinal medications. However, anyone who wants to feel better, should probably ask their doctor to make sure they are able to take this stuff.

You can easily search stuff like this online by typing it in the search bar instead of wasting people's time with simple questions. However, to answer you question anyway, I supposed that someone could try gastrointesinal medications.

A person should ask their doctor before taking anything, but you can probably take gastrointestinal medications to help with those pesky nausea symptoms.

Promethazine syrup. That’s what they mix with codeine to prevent nausea. I am no doctor but I have dealt with this for a few people. Try the promethazine; most people that have the nausea issue will benefit tremendously from promethazine. Good luck and I hope Your son and you get through this. It’s hard but it is totally worth it to be free of that garbage.

I get severe nausea and weakness that can put me in the bed for an entire day. So bad I have to try to breathe shallow because any movement makes it even worse. I've taken promethazine, zofran and it doesn't help. Believe it or not the only thing that I have found that helps is ginger ale. Still it can be a coin toss. I would never go back to my old life but wish they'd come out with something better. This crap is just as addictive as morphine. At least my mind is halfway clear. Hope it helps
