I'm worried about my little brother who is going through a difficult time right now. I know he's using this stuff called suboxone, it think that's what it's called. Anyway, I was wondering if he should be taking as much as 12 mg a day of this stuff? Is that too much?

You should know that 12 isn't too high. However, it's really not too hard to type this question into a search engine. I really don't understand why people ask these simple questions when it's the harder ones most people need to know.

I'm sure that 12 mg isn't too much really. However, I would think that your brother's doctor should know more about it than anyone. His doctor will probably know the right amount that's healthy enough for him to effectively treat him.

If your brother is taking medication for his addiction treatment, then 12 mg of suboxone isn't too much for a daily dose of treatment for addiction. It's actually not even the highest since a patient can take 16 mg or more if it's needed for that patient to get better.

Some people might think that 12 mg is too much. I think I read somewhere that it isn't since some people begin to have treatments from their doctor that's 16 mg or more. It could be too much if

Actually 12 mg isn't too much as you would think since some patients need more than this to recover from their addiction. However, 12 mg for each dose might be a little too much for a patient to handle. It should be more like 12mg for each day.
