My beloved sister is beginning suboxone treatment today. I want to make sure she's on the right dosage - does anyone know what's the maximum suboxone you can take in a day?

Medical professionals recommend a daily dosage in the range of 12-16mg. It's important to find a balance between taking a dose that's strong enough to minimize the withdrawal symptoms while also preventing further abuse and addiction. Your sister's doctor will be able to make the right dosage decision for her.

I'm fairly certain that anything higher than 16mg is too high to be safe. As long as your sister's dosage is within the typical range of 12-16mg, she should be just fine. I hope her recovery goes well, sending you good vibes!

Dosages of 12-16mg are appropriate for someone such as your sister. A higher dosage could begin to run the risk of additional side effects and risks of abuse. If she has any further questions or concerns she can speak to her doctor. It's good that you are trying to look out for her, and her doctors should be as well.

Your sister should be taking 0mg of suboxone a day. It's so dangerous and bad for you, I've heard that from my neighbor.

I'm not positive but I think anything higher than 20mg is too high. Too much suboxone can be detrimental to a person's health after all. I hope you and your sister can trust her doctor that they are doing the right thing and giving her the proper dosage.
