I am currently taking suboxone to help me off of opiates. I know the chances are slim to none, but what happens if I get in a wreck or need emergency surgery? Like will morphine work or will suboxone block it?

suboxone is not naloxone. Naloxone is what is used to reverse an overdose/block receptors in the brain that interact with opiates. With this said, you can experience a major drug interaction and this combination should likely be avoided.

suboxone won't block morphine; it can make the effects more intense which may mean that you go into a coma, experience unpleasant side effects (nausea, vomiting, etc,) or even die.

suboxone will block morphine so you will have to take a ton of it in order to see any effects.
