I have an old script to vicodin that I use periodically to help me sleep. I also have recently been prescribed suboxone. Will my vicodin work while im taking this or should I avoid it?

talk to your doctor. They will let you know what you can and cannot take without an interaction.

depending on how much and of what you are taking, you might get lucky and simply experience some nausea. On the unlucky side of things, you could die.

if you take vicodin with suboxone, you will probably experience withdrawals. If you don't regularly use vicodin, but happen to need it, the suboxone may cause the vicodin to not work as well/control your pain. Generally speaking, don't mix suboxone with other opiates.
