I am usually a very chill person. Once I started outpatient recovery, I began taking suboxone. After a few days, I began to have this anxious feeling. It seemed that my anxiety level had rose to a level I was not used to. Can suboxone be the cause of this?

Along with several other side effects, anxiety is listed. It is among the common side effects and can cause your treatment to stall or reverse. If this is something you're dealing with, talk to your doctor immediately.

Feeling anxious when you begin taking suboxone is probably normal. This should go away after a few days. If it doesn’t then I suggest talk with your doctor or counselor.

As others have already mentioned, anxiety is a common side effect. It should only last a short while though.
