im in constant pain but don't want to risk relapse by taking the hydrocodone the walk-in clinic gave me. I'm going to see my normal doctor next week to ask about subutex or suboxone… I just don't know which one I should ask for to deal with the amount of pain i'm in

one of them makes you feel slightly high while the other one makes you feel like you're kinda dope sick.

neither will get you the same high as dope regular opiates but either one is going to be far safer (when medically supervised) than using regular opiates.

subutex only contains buprenorphine which binds to pain receptors in the brain, much like other opiates. Suboxone has both buprenorphine and naloxone. The naloxone can throw you into a withdrawal. With this said, it is more difficult to abuse suboxone but you find greater pain relief with subutex.

both help with pain to an extent. It really depends on the 'pain' you're dealing with.
