where does the body store suboxone

My son is about to begin suboxone treatment and I really hope it goes well for him. I'm trying to get a better understanding of it though. What happens to the suboxone when he takes it, where does it go and where it is kept in the body?

That's a difficult thing you're going through with your son and I send my best wishes to you. Suboxone works in the brain to block other opioids from reaching their full effect. If you have further questions about suboxone I would recommend speaking to your son's doctor for clarification.

I'm sorry to hear about your son. That's a really hard situation for you to be in as a parent. When he takes suboxone, it enters the bloodstream and the brain, blocking the opioid receptors and eventually exiting the body after a few days. I hope that helps.

I thought it got stored in fat cells, but I'm not an expert by any means.
