My daughter is undergoing treatment for her addiction to oxycodone. Her doctor has prescribed her a drug called suboxone. She said it was to help with her withdrawal symptons. Last night she told me she was feeling some chest pain. I am now worried. Can suboxone cause chest pain?

I have to agree with what everyone has already said. Tell her to stop immediately. Get her to a hospital.

Suboxone is a drug that is considered a narcotic. If she is experiencing chest pain, she should see a doctor immediately.

From my research, chest pain is not a typical side effect. The words I read stated to stop taking the medication and seek medical help immediately.

Suboxone may be helping her with her detox but causing some anxiety. If she is experiencing anxiety or panic attacks, she may have some chest pain.
