Your doctor should wait at least 8 to 18 hours, but it could be more if your doctor wants you to wait a little longer.

Hey, this is Frank. Just wanted to let you know people have to wait at least 8 to 18 before they can be given suboxone.

If you are coming off oxycodone, then you should wait at least 8 to 18 hours before taking suboxone for the withdrawal. As long as you wait until the early signs of withdrawal symptoms are showing, then you should only then should a doctor give the patient Suboxone.

I don't really know why I'm answering this question since it's all over the internet, but here I am. You're not really supposed to take suboxone until at least 8 to 18 hours after your last dose of oxycodone.
