I'm about to enter suboxone treatment and I have a few concerns. Could I get the vivitrol injection and still be on suboxone? I don't want to not have either.

I think it's best that you're only on suboxone for the time being. I'm not positive but my understanding is that these two drugs can interact and that wouldn't be good for you.

These two substances can interact so it's not recommended that you have them both at the same time. Your doctor can go through the options with you and get you set up on a treatment plan that has a high chance of success for you.

I was on the vivitrol injection but I stopped when I started suboxone at the recommendation of my doctor. I'm five years sober and haven't looked back since! Good luck to you!

I had the same question when I started suboxone and my doctor told me it wasn't a good idea. He helped me explore other options though and that made a big difference, so I hope yours does the same for you.
