The doses in a Suboxone prescription is determined by a medical professional and your insurance company. Your insurance company may limit the number of tablets or films that you can get each month.

You can’t get a box of them. You can only get one strip at a time and have to take it in front of the medical staff to ensure that you don’t try to get it to someone else.

Suboxone prescriptions can be given in 30 or even 60-day doses depending on where you are in your recovery.

The amount of Suboxone that comes in a prescription varies from person to person. It also depends on if you are taking the tablet form of Suboxone or the film form. The doctor will prescribe an amount based on the dosages that you need. The amount will change over time as you will start to need less of it to get the same desired results once the opioids you were taking are out of your system.

You cannot get a prescription for Suboxone. You have to go to a treatment facility to get it to ensure that you are getting the counseling and monitoring that you need.
