im ready to get off of roxies. Ive been on them for years but every time I try to quit I end up taking them again because of withdrawals. I don’t really wanna go to rehab and I live in a relatively small town… can I just ask my family doctor to prescribe suboxone for me?

no, they can't if the government doesn't allow them

yes, but why would you want them knowing your business. This would prevent you from getting pain killers again later

best thing to do is ask if they do so. If they don't ask for a recommendation

just ask a friend who is using it for theirs.

your family doctor may be able to prescribe suboxone if they have the correct licensure from the DEA. They can also only have so many patients at a time. If they cannot prescribe it, they can direct you to a doctor that can help.
