Hello! I recently started using a medication called Subutex and it was always a small orange pill. Recently, I asked my wife to buy it from me and she came up with some white pills. Is this the right medication? I was always led to believe that Subutex was orange!

Always buy only the orange ones! Why would any pharmaceutical company in the whole world create pills in another color? It’s like if you were to buy Viagra and it’s not blue, man. Take care! Pills with the wrong color can be deadly!

Subutex is generally orange, but this does not mean that she bought the wrong product or that this is a counterfeit drug of any sort. You can be assured of that. Companies often have medicine in different colors and different companies have different standards. What really matters is to buy the right dosage of buprenorphine, which is the active ingredient of this drug.

Yes, it’s probably Subutex, unless she bought the wrong one, but that should be easy enough to know. The substance that you are after is buprenorphine, so if it is that, it’s ok.

It doesn’t matter the color, only the substance. If you bought buprenorphine, you got the right thing. Subutex is known for being orange, but the truth is that there are many white and light pink pills, too.
