Bupe is street slang for the narcotic Buprenorphine. It's commonly used to tream pain and to treat addiction to opioids. If you heard your son talking about it, you should have a talk with him right away to see what's going on.

It's best to talk to your son about what you heard. Clarrify if you heard Bupe or something else. If you heard Bupe he was more than likely referring to Buprenorphine and that should be cause for alarm.

Suboxone is used to help people stop using drugs. One of it's active ingredients is Buprenorphine. Your son may have a drug addiction or one of his friends might have one and is trying to get help.
