I have heard of people abusing Suboxone, but if it is supposed to be used to help people stop using drugs, how can it be abused?

Suboxone is commonly abused by those that want to be able to get a slight high, even when they claim they want to get sober. The high is minimal, but some people enjoy it.

People commonly inject or snort Suboxone when they want to abuse it. Some people think that it can get them a different type of high and try taking it in excessive amounts. The effects cap at a certain point so that no matter how much someone takes they will never get the high that they get from other opioids.

Suboxone is commonly abused by people stealing or buying the film or tablets from someone else. They then take the medication without having an actual prescription for it.

Every drug can be abused. All someone has to do is take it differently than it is intended to be taken.
